SKU: PA161 Controller Assembly: SM025, SM045

I purchased my SM025 in 2011 and had to replace the controller this year (2024). The temperature displays on the old controller had completely disappeared. I feared that I had a repair job on my hands that I wouldn't be able to handle. But after a re-assuring email from a Cookshack technician, I ordered this replacement. I had such a quick and easy install of the new controller (even with my "older" model) that I'm sorry I waited so long to fix the problem.

The controller and probe worked great.

Have had my SM025 for about 8 years, and had to replace the controller this year. It took me more time to remove and replace the slightly shrunken smoker cover than to swap out the controller. I smoked a pork butt today, and the controller functioned flawlessly. Will find out about the pork in about a half hour....

I currently have a Model 020 built in 2000 and the face plate was broken however it still worked. I was at a friends house and his smoker had a model M025 controller with a meat probe. I contacted Cooksshack and they streared me to the right contoller and meat probe. The product arrived in a well protected box a few days after i placed my oder. The change over took less than 15 minutes and i am a very happy camper. thanks to the great staff at Cookshack.
