I’ve been using the Fast Eddy PG500 for a few months now and can confidently say it’s the best pellet smoker I’ve used by a mile. As an offset guy it’s almost a little frustrating that it can produce a final product so close to my offsets. I was shocked the first time I did a brisket. The bark, fat render, and smoke flavor were incredible. I’m a busy guy and this has allowed me to do long cooks much more often. That’s true of any pellet grill, but no other pellet grill made me WANT to use it for long smokes. With it excelling in grilling and searing as well it’s easily the most used grill/smoker I’ve had in my yard. The build quality is incredible too!

Absolute the best! We use ours as a smoker, grill, pizza oven and anything else we want cooked perfectly. This is the best pellet grill made. It has worked with out a problem for three years. Hopefully will out last me and I will pass it on to my children.

My grill is so old it cost $1200 It is the best cooking pellet grill. Not being insulated has no effect whatsoever on the quality of the cook. I have cooked on this over 100 times I’ve the last 10 years no problems. Still looks new just ordered a new cover finely wore it out. Mostly cooked ribs, butts and chickens.

I've owned mine for several years. Great smoker. Best brisket and ribs!
Hot smoked salmon to die for!
No kidding...you get what you pay for.
No regrets!

I’ve had my PG-500 for a bit over a year after upgrading from an older Green Mountain Grill. The PG-500 is more than twice as expensive but it’s more than twice as good! First of all, it’s completely foolproof. You can tweak some settings if you want, but for the most part you just turn it on and it works. Period. Second, it is way easier to clean than the GMG. Emptying out the ash takes seconds.
Finally, and most importantly, there’s the food. The indirect section of the grill has completely consistent temperatures across the entire surface, unlike the GMG. This makes it far easier to get consistent results from. It actually produces smoke! No special tricks or absurdly low temps needed. You get plenty of smoke at 225. I didn’t think I’d use the direct cooking section of the grill, but now I use it constantly. It can easily sear a steak and makes great burgers.
There’s other great pellet grills out there, but I would buy the PG-500 again without hesitation.
