My wife and I were just talking about my smoker. We have been married 15 years and it has been part of my life for probably 17 years, maybe more. The only thing close to an issue i have ever had with it was smoking a brisket on a very hot day (95+) in the sun. The electronics over heated. Moving it into the shade and it started right back up and finished nicely. My bad and lesson learned. I'll be back to buy another one, if this one ever has any issues.

I have had cook shack smokers for over 10 years and love them! The cooking temperature is consistent, and everything I’ve tried has turned out fantastic! I even bought another one for my summer residence!

I bought my Smokette in 2004, 20 years ago, and still use it all the time, without a lick of trouble. It does the most fantastic job!

SM025 ..I have been using this smoker that i purchased new for i would guess 10 years. I have smoked everything and NEVER had anything turn out bad. In the beginning i did use the Cookshack user recipes that pointed me in the correct direction. The only issue i have had with my smoker was the temperature probe broke and i replaced it. I have nothing bad to say about the unit and do recommend to anyone with any ability level.
