My smoker is around 25 years old. Replaced the thermostat a couple of years ago and it works like new. I have a pork shoulder smoking right now. Products are pricy but when you divide the cost by the years of service they are very inexpensive to own. They are the kings for smoking at home!!!

Timely shipping and easy install!

I installed in a 24 year old sm008. It fits, but I will say besides being 1000% overall satisfied with cookshack and their support, that the new style t-stat is a slight bit deep, and hits the back cover the answer being to attach the cover on the outside of the box rather than sliding into back of box. Also, note the new sticker is a bit too large and is a must as the indexing for temps is slightly different from the old stat. Not a huge deal considering the quality and reliability of cookshack products. I'm very satisfied.

I haven't got this installed yet. So far I'm 5 star satisfied. The delivery was prompt. And I'm happy an instruction sheet was included. I might further review after the installation.
